DescriptionThe Infectious Diseases Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital seeks an outstanding investigator working in the area of Microbial Pathogenesis relevant to childhood infections. This position is open for qualified applicants at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Important childhood pathogens may include Respiratory syncytial virus, influenza virus, HIV, TB, malaria, Staph aureus, streptococcal infections, fungal infections, resistant bacterial pathogens, childhood diarrheal pathogens, and a variety of others. Individuals working on microbes for which vaccine development remains a priority are preferred.
