The Oncology Nurse Educator is a critical role within the growing Oncology team. Primary responsibilities include delivery of clinical education programs and in-services, along with clinical support, to nurses and other healthcare professionals (HCP) to meet Oncology strategic imperatives. The individual in this position will be responsible for a specific geographic area with the ability to travel 50% - 65% of the time dependent on geography. Reporting structure is Commercial Sales.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop effective partnerships with customers by providing current, in-depth, clinical information on products and therapies.
Leverage clinical and professional expertise to internal and external customers. Interact with HCPs by giving unbranded or branded presentations to improve understanding of Servier Oncology products
In collaboration with the Senior Oncology Consultants, drive awareness and demand of products and programs to both optimize patient outcomes and achieve specific business objectives. This will involve planning and implementing educational programs, in-services, and meaningful clinical exchanges with nurses, Advanced Practitioners, and other appropriate members of the healthcare community.
Conduct customer educational needs analysis and in collaboration with the Senior Oncology Consultants develop purposeful tactics to resolve customer issues.
Support and advise Oncology marketing and training in the design, development, and implementation of educational programs that drive and support Oncology product portfolio. Gather and communicate unsolicited marketing intelligence information in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain expertise in the area of Oncology treatment. A broad understanding of the Hematology/Oncology community, including perspectives of patients, advocacy groups, payers and healthcare professionals will be necessary.
Effectively track and communicate all account activity using the designated resources.
Demonstrate compliance with policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with Servier’s Leadership Attributes and Values.

Skills and Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
5 years clinical experience in Hematology-Oncology specialty (Pediatric, AYA or Adult)
Preference for pharmaceutical or related industry experience.
Experience treating ALL patients a plus
Academic and community infusion center experience desired.
Effective communication skills to deliver formal slide presentations, stand-up education experience, small group interactions, and 1:1 clinical conversations in both virtual and in-person settings
Demonstrated ability to develop deep, effective working rapport and foster a collaborative, consultative relationship with healthcare professionals, especially nurses.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within the Sales Organization.
Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills in the healthcare environment.
