We are hiring Director Quality and Risk Management - Psych Hospital positions in Gainesville, FL.
The starting salary range for this position is $71,385 - $94,328 , depending on experience.
Develops and implements the Continuous Quality Improvement program; coordinates licensure and accreditation activities for compliance with all applicable regularly agencies; serves as risk manager designees and directs the risk management program; supports the Medical Directors; establishes and assures hospital standards of performance; provides ongoing administrative, utilization and clinical quality consultation and support to the educators, managers, administrator and medical director of UF Health Psychiatric Hospital and UF Health system. Manages cost centers, departments and projects as assigned. Conducts special projects and serves as hospital representative to related core and system teams, projects and initiatives. Serves as a member of the hospital senior management team; represents administration in the absence of the Administrator and participates actively in institutional decision making. Chair the Emergency Preparedness to coordinate disaster relief efforts with County and State emergency management officials. Participate in the administrative on-call rotation.
Must successfully pass an FBI Level 2 screening for this position

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in healthcare administration, risk management experience, nursing or directly applicable discipline preferred. Three to five years progressively responsible management in a hospital setting (or equivalent) is required. •Must have demonstrated ability to organize and design services; strong analytical skills and demonstrated competency in problem definition, solution, resolution and implementation. •Must demonstrate strong communication skills, including those in conflict resolution and management, negotiations and both verbal and written presentation. •Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives, knowledge of procedural terminology and healthcare systems. •Prior clinical experience required. •Experience with continuous quality improvement and JCAHO accreditation required. Experience with Chapter 394 of the Florida Statutes and 10-E of the Florida Administrative Code, AHCA and/or other applicable regulatory agencies preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: •ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) required within 12 months of hire •BLS Certification
