OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Act as key finance business partner for Global BioLife functions by performing analysis, complying with internal and external policies, and maintaining accounting and reporting integrity.  
  • Assist with overall management of finance activities related to plasma inventory accounting and controlling. 
  • Ad hoc financial modeling

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform journal entries and analysis for the Global BioLife Plasma network as part of closing activities including completion of account reconciliations, and monthly reporting.  Coordinate with other BioLife finance team members to ensure all close activities are completed.
  • Prepare the annual expense budget for specific cost centers and cost objects.  Coordinate the budget and forecast activities with various BioLife finance team members.
  • Support various BioLife functions by identifying trends in monthly results to help those functions achieve budget goals.
  • Key liaison for matters including plasma inventory accounting and controlling
  • Ensure all SOX related activities are completed during the month.  Completion of all internal control activities.
  • Develop financial models to support ad hoc initiatives

  • In depth knowledge of finance systems and processes related to accounting and controlling as well as financial planning and analysis.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 4+ years of relevant experience.
