The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) based in Little Rock, AR, is seeking nominations and applications for the position of Chief Quality Officer, University of Arkansas Medical Center. Joining a new School of Medicine Dean and a new Chancellor for Medical Sciences, this team will advance UAMS on its journey to becoming "the safest and most efficient medical center in the world."
Opportunity exists for this individual to create the next five-year strategic plan, build a continuum of care approach to safety and quality, establish the supporting infrastructure and participate/initiate research independently or in collaboration with both bench and clinical scientists.
As the state’s only academic health center, UAMS provides tertiary and quaternary medical and surgical care to a community of 3 million people.
