Responsible for generating new business, maintaining and growing current business. This role will work with an established book of business and grow sales of services with existing accounts. Services will include IRB, feasibility, training and contracts and budgets. Orchestrate the business development process throughout sales cycle. aligning account expansion of existing and new customers. Responsible for generating new leads, calling on potential new accounts, and maintaining and growing long term relationship to impact bottom line results.
This is a national sales territory position that requires 75% travel, and occasional global travel.
Successfully prospect and sell solutions and service via consultative selling approach.
Coordinate with leaders and SME's across business to create compelling and goal-driven solutions for clients and prospects.
Manage client meeting schedules to achieve target performance.

Utilize Saleforce.com to monitor, analyze, and communicate sales data to the management team.
Coordinate with the legal team in managing contract negotiations.
Set and manage client/prospect expectations and proactively coordinate and communicate with internal staff during sales cycle.
Coordinate with executive management team to ensure tactical and strategic goals of the organization are achieved.
Provide market feedback to internal teams regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
5 years' experience managing business development and selling solutions preferably in the pharmaceutical, life sciences industry.
Dependable track record of consistently achieving personal sales goals.
Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
Experience working in a team selling environment with subject matter experts.
Executive level client penetration and development.
Strong verbal/written communication and presentations skills as we as advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for a changing environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret bids/quotes, technical procedures and legal documents.
Ability to multi-task, work in challenging situations, meet strict deadlines, and work independently.
