The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining and growing current business. This role will work with an established book of business and grow sales of services with existing accounts. Services will include IRB, feasibility, training and contracts, budget and possible software solutions. This role will support Business Development by generating new leads, calling on potential new accounts, maintaining and growing long term relationships to impact bottom line results.
National Sales Territory position that requires up to 75% travel
Successfully prospect and sell solutions and services via consultative selling approach.
Coordinate with leaders and SME's across business to create compelling and goal-driven solutions for clients and prospects.
Manage client meetings schedules to achieve target performance.
Organize/staff client meetings to assure proper subject matter expert participation.
Prepare client presentations to the standards of the company
Research and maintain industry contacts required to assure sales success within assigned accounts.
Business development with assigned clients.
Develop account strategies for assigned accounts.
Work within a vigorous metrics-driven environment
Utilize Salesforce.com to monitor, analyze, and communicate sales data to the management team
Coordinate with the legal team in managing contract negotiations
Set and manage client/prospect expectations and proactively coordinate and communicate with internal staff during sales cycle.
